Review - Herman Miller Chair

I purchased a $2000 chair over lockdown in 2020 and here's my review of it.

It was a Herman Miller chair which is generally renowned as the best office chairs out there. I personally went with the Herman Miller Embody as recommended by the chair selector on their website.

The chair is quite nice to sit on and I have no complaints with it. It's got a lot of levers and functions but I honestly still have no idea what most of them do.

It's a high end chair and chairs don't get much pricier than this. You'd obviously get more value for your money with an Officeworks or Ikea chair.

If you're working from home you could make the argument that you spend more time on your chair than your bed. With 7.5 hours during work and 3 hours after work that's over 10 hours a day on a chair if you don't work in your bed.

Was it worth it? I'd say it's overpriced, but hopefully I don't have to buy another chair in the foreseeable future.
